Two civilisations, a pyramid of cards and three ways to win. In 7 Wonders Duel by Antoine Bauza and Bruno Cathala every card you take is a card you leave to your opponent: build your city and wonders going for points, or crush them early with your army or your science.
How to play
- The game lasts three Ages: at the start of each one the cards are laid out on the table, some face up and some face down.
- Players take turns picking a free card, one not covered by others, and use it to build a structure or one of their wonders, or discard it for coins.
- Military cards push the conflict pawn towards the opponent's capital, science symbols earn progress tokens.
- You win immediately by reaching the enemy capital or by collecting 6 different science symbols; otherwise, after the third Age, the player with the most points wins.
- 2 players, ages 10 and up, games of about 30 minutes
- By Antoine Bauza and Bruno Cathala
