Product details
Product in Italian
In Architects of the West Kingdom you are royal architects competing to impress the king by building landmarks and working on the new cathedral. You place your workers to gather materials and hire apprentices, capture your opponents' workers and decide whether to stay virtuous or deal on the black market.
How to play
- Everyone has their own workers: on your turn you place one in a location of the city and take that location's action. The more of your workers are there, the more resources you collect.
- With wood, clay, stone, marble and gold you hire apprentices and build buildings and the cathedral to score points.
- You can capture your opponents' workers and send them to prison to earn silver, or deal on the black market, but watch your virtue.
- The game ends when enough buildings have been completed in the city: the player with the most points wins, and low virtue is penalised.
- 1 to 5 players, ages 12 and up, games of 60 to 80 minutes
- By Shem Phillips and SJ Macdonald, first chapter of the West Kingdom trilogy
