Your brother has disappeared! The only clue is a letter sent from Mont Blanc, in which he talks about his research and a treasure lost for 50 years. You are on the roof of Europe to find out what happened to your brother Jean and bring him back. But the truths hidden in those snowy mountains are older and more dangerous than you think.
Backstories: Sola tra i Ghiacci is the first adventure of the Backstories saga, an investigative game with simple and innovative mechanics. Like in a classic point and click video game, you interact with the environment as you move through a gripping story. You can persuade with kindness or push your way through with decision and cunning: every choice has real consequences for the course of the story.
How to play
- Some cards show the scenery around you.
- The Action cards show a window and what you can do: talk, search, examine objects and more.
- To act, place an Action card on the back of the Scenery card.
- Read the result of your choice and carry on with the story, using the objects you find.
