Botanicus takes you to the botanical gardens of the Victorian age. You buy land, grow rare plants and arrange your garden to satisfy the most demanding visitors, with an action selection system that forces you to pick the right moment.
How to play
- You are late nineteenth century aristocrats setting up a botanical garden for very demanding guests.
- Each round you compete for the best spots in the action selection system, which decides what you can do and when.
- With your actions you collect new plants, tend and water them, direct the gardener's work and build up the funds you need for everything.
- At the end what counts are satisfied visitors and the elegance of your garden: the most admired garden wins.
- 2 to 4 players, ages 10 and up, 45 to 60 minutes
- A game by Vieri Masseini and Samuele Tabellini
