You are thieving little mice here, and cheese is all that matters. In Cacio e Dadi you roll dice to grab pieces of cheese from the middle of the table and, if you are clever, to steal them from the other players too. That is why it pays to cover the cheese you have won with a cheese cover. A quick, fun dice game.

How to play

1. Roll all 8 dice and decide which results to keep and which to reroll, for up to four rolls.
2. Count your cheese: a piece worth 1 if exactly one die shows 1, a piece worth 2 if exactly two dice show 2, and so on. You can win several pieces in the same turn.
3. Place the pieces in front of you, either as a new pile or on a cheese tile you already have, in descending order.
4. To close a pile, flip the tile to its cheese cover side: this protects it from theft.
5. The game ends when 3 piles in the middle of the table run out. Count your cheese points, plus the points from the bonus tiles.
