Product in Italian
A newly discovered island, five resources that are never enough and neighbours ready to trade. In Catan, Klaus Teuber's classic in its new edition, you found settlements, build roads and turn settlements into cities, bartering wood, brick, grain, wool and ore with the others. The first to reach 10 points wins.
How to play
- On each turn you roll the two dice: the hexes with that number produce resources for anyone with a settlement or city next to them.
- With resources you build roads, settlements and cities and buy development cards. Whatever you lack, you trade with the other players or with the bank.
- On a 7 the robber moves, blocking a hex and stealing a card, and anyone holding too many cards must discard half.
- Settlements, cities and some cards are worth points: the first to reach 10 points wins.
- 3 to 4 players, ages 10 and up
- The base game, the starting point for every Catan expansion
