C'era una Volta is the award winning card game that combines storytelling, creativity and teamwork. This is the third edition.
The real goal is not to win but to have fun inventing memorable adventures together.
In the box: 114 Story cards with completely new illustrations, 51 Happy Ending cards, also newly illustrated, and a more compact, more immediate rulebook of just 4 pages.
How to play
- One player, the Storyteller, starts making up a fairy tale using the hints on their Story cards.
- They try to steer the plot toward their own Happy Ending card.
- The other players use their Story cards to interrupt and become the Storyteller themselves.
- The winner is the first player who, after using all their Story cards, leads the story to their own Happy Ending.

What condition are the single cards in?
The condition is shown in the selected variant, for example Near Mint, Excellent or Poor. Check it before adding the card to your cart. Any specific notes are included in the product description.

With tracked shipping and protective packaging: single cards travel rigidly protected, and sealed products are carefully packaged to arrive intact.
How do preorders work?
Preorders are dispatched from the product's official release date. If your order contains both preorders and in-stock items, everything is shipped together at release.
