Remember the good old days, when adventures happened underground and at the end of every dungeon there was a 20th level dragon? They are back. This is the latest edition of Dungeon Crawl Classics from Goodman Games, published in Italian by Kaizoku Press and MPEdizioni (third reprint in Italy).
The roughly 500 page black and white book has everything you need to start playing:
- Hundreds of spells and a sizeable bestiary
- Two adventures: Il Portale Sotto Le Stelle and Il Comando degli Star chon
- A short, simple ruleset built on the foundations of OGL 3.5 (D&D and Pathfinder), so a D&D player can learn it in under an hour
The spirit is old school: illustrations in the style of the seventies and eighties, spartan layout and high mortality. It suits players who have been at it for a few years and want a return to the roots.
