Il Popolo della Fossa is an adventure for Dungeon Crawl Classics, so you need the base game. It is compatible with D20 and easy to adapt to D&D 5th Edition and Pathfinder.
Years have passed since the last virgin was sacrificed, and now the beast of the pit has awakened. Generation after generation, it crawls on swaying tentacles out of the depths below the great gorge, ravages the region and goes back to sleep for decades. But this time it is different: the Great Beast strikes with intelligence. Bands of faceless men in gray robes rise from the darkness and guide the roaming tentacles. Every night the ground shakes, and the villagers ask whether any man is brave enough to raise a sword against such a threat.
