In Evolution each player creates and adapts their own species in an ecosystem that keeps changing. Trait cards make species bigger, faster, armoured or carnivorous, while everyone fights over the food at the watering hole: whoever adapts best survives, whoever falls behind ends up on a predator's plate.
How to play
- Each round you receive cards: you use them to create new species, to grow their population or body size, or as traits, such as long neck, hard shell or carnivore.
- Everyone secretly places a card in the watering hole: together they decide how much food there will be that round.
- In turn, species eat from the watering hole while carnivores attack other species. Species that do not find enough food lose population.
- Food eaten is worth points, as are surviving species and their traits: after the last round the player with the most points wins.
- 2 to 6 players, ages 10 and up, games of about 60 minutes

How do preorders work?
Preorders are dispatched from the product's official release date. If your order contains both preorders and in-stock items, everything is shipped together at release.
