The Fairy Tale Fair has come to town, and storybook characters are gathering. In Fairy Tale Inn two players place them in the rooms of the Inn, trigger their special abilities and try to earn as many gold coins as they can. Who will be the richest innkeeper in the realm?

The inn is a 7x6 grid, a bit like Connect Four. The characters' effects are linked, so the trick is to find the most efficient spot for every token. Some spaces also unlock extra powers.

How to play

1. Place character tokens in the spaces of the inn with the coloured, active side facing you. Your opponent sees the same token on its uncoloured side.
2. Each character has abilities that trigger at different moments: when played, permanent, or at the end of the game.
3. Gold coins are used to buy character tokens and also count as your score.
4. The game ends when three columns are completely filled: whoever has the most gold coins wins.

In the box

• 1 plastic Inn structure
• 64 character tokens and 8 character cards
• 1 Guest List board
• 62 gold coin tokens
• 1 cloth bag
