Is your secret dream to play a god? Then Gods of the Fall is for you. It is a fantasy role playing game in which the characters are more than adventurers, heroes or antiheroes: they awaken a divine spark, claim a domain and proclaim themselves gods of War, the Hunt, Winter, Fire or something else. They perform divine labours, make prophecies come true and can even redeem a world fallen into darkness.
Here you do not play gods cast out of paradise. The entire realm of the gods, Elanehtar, has physically fallen: it struck the world, killed all the gods and gave birth to a new middle age of suffering, doubt and wickedness. The impact site, the Eye of Elanehtar, is held by a perpetual typhoon that keeps spewing out curses and creatures formed from the corpses of the gods, called the frenzied. Rumours, omens and prophecies tell of new gods rising, weak and uncertain. Those new gods are the characters.
It is a setting for the Cypher System. Are you ready to forge a new pantheon?
