As any Quidditch fan knows, the Firebolt is a first class broomstick. Built in 1993, it was the fastest broom on the market. The official description mentions an aerodynamic ash handle, a tail of birch twigs picked one by one, and acceleration from 0 to 250 km/h in ten seconds.
