Il Regno e la Spada is a rules supplement for the most famous roleplaying game in the world and for any old school or OSR game. You need a base roleplaying game to add it to. It lets players and game masters bring towns, domains and wars into high level campaigns without a flood of new rules.
At its heart is the Domain Turn: the action zooms out and players choose where to invest treasure, face Domain Encounters and make choices to keep a settlement's morale up before heading back to adventure. The mechanics are familiar and easy to fit in.
- tools to help the game master create situations and events
- passive income by investing in your settlements
- diplomacy and war, with a tactical mass combat system or a quick automatic resolution
- a toolbox to make an ongoing game more varied
