Two Kitsune clans, Zenko and Yako, face off with strategy and cunning. Kitsu can be played one against one or in teams of two or three players. Each player belongs to one of the two clans, but to win they must use both their own clan's cards and their opponent's.

Special cards, strategy shifts driven by timing and Power tokens open up plenty of options and make every game different.

How to play

1. A game is played in rounds, each made of a series of hands.
2. At the end of a hand, the total value of the orange Kitsu cards is compared with the blue ones.
3. The clan with the higher total moves its Kitsune token along the Wisdom track by as many spaces as the difference.
4. If the difference is more than 4, the team that lost the hand receives a Power token.
5. A round ends when a clan moves its token onto the space of absolute wisdom, and the game ends when a clan wins two rounds.

Game elements: 1 rulebook, 2 Kitsune pawns, 1 Wisdom board to assemble, 30 Kitsu cards, 5 Power tokens, 2 large cards, 12 Clan cards (6 blue and 6 orange), 1 Leader token and 3 Round Victory cards.
