Roi de Rats is a campaign for the Lexoccultum roleplaying game, so you need the base game to use it. It is also an important source of information on 18th century Paris.
Players come into contact with the Court of Miracles, the underworld of Paris and the myth of a secret son of the King. They get caught up in the deadly game between the Church, the Templars and the Court, and finally face the assassins of the Theatre de la Morte, secret societies and the lackeys of Louis XIV. The choices are hard and test the characters’ deepest beliefs, whether gnostic or religious, conservative or supporters of scientific thought.
