The future of rock is in your hands. You are Taylor, a thoroughbred rocker and full time idiot, living in a grubby metropolis. One day the God of Rock, tired of his duties, names you his successor.
Your mission: push a hopeless garage band to become the greatest Metal show on the planet, save the world and win a seat in the Rock Olympus. Metal Heroes and the Fate of Rock is packed with the classic clichés, triumphs, pitfalls and characters of the rock scene, mixed with a generous helping of humor and coarse language. It is a very unusual fantasy gamebook that asks you to charge in headfirst. Alongside the testosterone fueled metalheads, special guests Jill Janus and Charlotte Wessels are ready to save the world with their voices.
The book was conceived and written by Swen Harder and illustrated by Fufu Frauenwahl: hard cover, 816 pages. It includes the Metal Heroes Soundtrack, with tracks by international metal bands of every style to play during the adventure.
The Special Edition Box contains:
- The book of over 800 pages
- The soundtrack on CD
- A collectible guitar pick
- A vintage bookmark
- An extra sheet
- A deck of illustrated poker cards
- A dice set made only for this book
- The minigame «In alto le corna!»
