The pharaoh's children spent much of their lives preparing for the journey to the afterlife. In Pharaon you must win the support of nobles and artisans to build a magnificent burial chamber and bring your offerings to the demanding gods. Each of your actions will be judged in the final weighing of the heart.

The game combines resource management and worker placement in a single mechanism. At the center of the board sits an action wheel surrounded by 5 areas, the 5 possible actions. Each turn the wheel shows which resources give access to each area, and this changes during the game. Plan carefully, working out which resources will open each area. You can also end your round early and gain growing bonuses while the others keep playing.

The variable resources make every game different. The artwork is by Christine Alcouffe. Experienced players get a solo mode with adjustable difficulty, and more casual players enjoy the simple, straightforward rules. Above all, it suits anyone who loves ancient Egypt.
