One more card and the ship could make you rich, or cost you everything. In Port Royal by Alexander Pfister you flip harbour cards one by one to trade, hire characters and complete expeditions, but if two ships of the same colour appear your turn ends empty handed. The Big Box gathers the base game and expansions.
How to play
- On your turn you flip cards from the deck one at a time and lay them in the harbour: ships, characters and expeditions.
- You can stop whenever you like and take a card: ships give coins, characters are bought and give powers and points. But if two ships of the same colour come up, your turn ends and you get nothing.
- After you, the other players can also take a card from the harbour by paying you one coin.
- With the right characters you complete expeditions. When someone reaches 12 points the game ends: the player with the most wins.
