The Village is quiet, the villagers stroll among the stalls, and the first fireworks of O Bon light up in the distance. A toy slips unnoticed from a small child's pocket, and a furry figure hidden in the trees watches and thinks it had better return it right away.
Rosso di Sera (the original title is Yuuyake Koyake, the opening line of a famous Japanese folk song about sunsets, dragonflies and the beauty of nature) captures the pastoral mood of rural, traditional Japan in a light and gentle game with no violence, focused on positive relationships and friendship.
Players take the role of Henge, shapeshifting animals from the Shinto tradition, and join village life by helping the villagers solve their problems. It shows that you can tell memorable stories together without fighting monsters or stealing treasure.
