Earth, Mars, the Belt and the Outer Planets Alliance fight over the Solar System. In The Expanse, inspired by the science fiction saga, you take cards from a shared row to move fleets and place influence, but every card also carries a faction's event: taking it may help a rival.
How to play
- Each player leads a faction: Earth, Mars, the Belt or the Outer Planets Alliance.
- In turn you take a card from the shared row: you use it for action points, to move fleets and place influence, or for its event. Every card has one faction's event, and if it is not yours you may end up helping an opponent.
- Influence markers are placed in orbits as you try to control the regions of the Solar System.
- Several times during the game the controlled regions are scored: at the end the player with the most points wins.
- 2 to 5 players, ages 14 and up
