Numenera and The Strange: L’Anomalia do not share the same universe, but the game system is identical and the rules for building the setting are the same. So why not use both together? It is not complicated at all.
In both games, characters are described by a single sentence: I am a [adjective] [noun] who [verb]. Many other elements are similar too: types, creatures, cyphers, descriptors and foci differ, but the way they fit into the game mechanics is the same.
This supplement gives guidelines for playing Numenera alongside The Strange and the other way round, with the descriptors, foci, cyphers, artifacts and creatures of both games analyzed to help you convert.
